If you are planning to study at Penfold you must have a USI. If you do not have a USI, you won’t be able to receive your qualification. Student Support Officers at Penfold can assist you in getting a USI.

What is the Unique Student Identifier (USI)?

From 1 January 2015, all students who undertake vocational education and training (VET) must have a USI. If you do not have a USI, registered training organisations (RTO) cannot issue you a Certificate, Diploma, Statement of Attainment or Transcript for your training. The USI ensures that students can obtain a complete record of their enrolments and achievements from a single online source and that no qualifications are lost.

What do you need to do?

Please visit http://usi.gov.au/ and click “Create my USI” to fill in your information. After you receive an email regarding successful creation of your USI, please forward that email to studentservices@penfold.edu.au with your name and student ID as the subject.

If you already have a USI?

Let us know today! Visit the Admissions Officer on Level 3 123 Lonsdale St, Melbourne, VIC 3000. You may need to provide further identification, so please bring along your Visa and Passport.
